DENY THE PERMIT,
CONDEMN THE PIPELINE.
WHY ARE YOU STRIKING ON APRIL 21?
On April 21, 2023, our focus will center around Tina Kotek’s power as the governor of Oregon to prevent fossil fuel expansion statewide. We demand that Governor Kotek join Senators Merkley and Wyden and Governor Inslee to condemn any and all plans surrounding the expansion of the Gas Transmission Northwest XPress pipeline. In regards to the CEI Hub, we demand that Governor Kotek and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality deny Zenith Energy their Air Contaminant Discharge Permit, as their operations negatively impact the greater Portland Metro Area and
put hundreds of thousands of Portland residents at risk.
