Sixty Years of Memories! Sixty years of countless memories. Sixty years of living the dream of providing quality education. Sixty years of fun, laughter, and achievements. So many years have passed, so many things have changed. Many of us are still here, but some have gone to a better place. This December 2006, let us look back and reminisce our school days in our beloved Philippine Yuh Chiau School.
The theme for the grand alumni homecoming is PYCSenta ka na! Simply stating that let us come together and celebrate 60 years of memories and achievements. “Magkamustahan tayo”, that is the goal of this celebration, enthusiastically stated by Mr. Richard Tan, chairman of the organizing committee. It is a three day affair with lots of activities to enable everyone to interact, have fun, and reconnect with long lost friends.
It is always nice to remember and think about the days you spent in high school or even your elementary days. Looking back, you realize that a very large amount of time was spent in Yuh Chiau. Your formative years were spent here. You learned the skills and values which greatly contribute to who you are today. The dream lives on as Philippine Yuh Chiau School is now undergoing a major facelift to prepare for the future generation. There are new facilities being constructed to better equip the students and faculty. Most importantly, trainings and seminars for teachers are being implemented to ensure the highest quality of education is delivered. It is a very exciting time indeed for the school. Indeed, this gives everyone more reason to go and attend the 60th anniversary celebration of our beloved Alma Mater. See you there!
